Lafayette Square, a few blocks from the hotel.  Made famous in a scene from the movie JFK.

Intersection of Camp and Lafayette, where once upon a time Lee Harvey Oswald and Guy Bannister had their offices.  Oswald passed out "Fair Play for Cuba" throwaways a few blocks away on Canal Street.

Confederate Museum.  Very impressive!
